All my life I did what I thought others wanted me to do and I did an ok job at it. What I have found as I have gotten older is that I should have followed my passions when I was young. It is really hard to go after your dreams and passions when you have commitments. I don’t regret a single decision I have made in my life. It has made me who I am and let me know what I am capable of. That goes for the good and the bad. I am ashamed of some of those decisions but that is different. When I was 20 I found myself at seminary school in Texas for all the wrong reasons. It took a tragedy to wake me up then to see what I really wanted. I came back home and followed my passions and dreams and married the love of my life. After that I took the easy and sure road. I had commitments. When I was young I loved to draw and take pictures. I always wanted to have a darkroom when I grew up. It never happened.

Now I am trying to do what I always wanted to do with the commitments. It is really hard and I don’t have the money to do what I want to do.

My advice for anyone who will listen is follow your dreams before you have any commitments. It is easy to follow the crowd.  If you never try it will never happen.

Here is another piece of me.
